Farm Credit institutions support National Black Growers Council

AgFirst is proud to partner with the National Black Growers Council (NBGC) on their commitment to attracting, mentoring and supporting Black row crop farmers for sustained growth. AgFirst, Farm Credit and our partners AgCarolina, AgSouth and ArborOne, recently supported the NBGC Annual Meeting in Charleston, S.C. This event brought together over 100 farmers to network, collaborate and learn strategies to enhance their operations.

“Thanks to our relationship with Farm Credit, we can create opportunities for our members that they might not have otherwise,” said Dawn Mellion, Executive Director of the National Black Growers Council.

Our partnership with NBGC allows us to connect with more farmers, understand their unique challenges and build strong, lasting relationships. Together, we support the organization’s mission to improve the efficiency, productivity and sustainability of Black farmers.
