AgFirst welcomes new director to its board for 2025
AgFirst Farm Credit Bank stockholders elected one new director and re-elected two incumbent directors. Jennifer L. Rhodes began her term Jan. 1 and will continue to serve until Dec. 31, 2027. Directors Jenny R. Black and Ellis Taylor were re-elected to the board. The board also re-elected William T. Robinson as chair and Jenny R. Black as vice chair.
Rhodes is owner and operator of Deerfield Farms LLC and Hillsdale Farms LLC in Centreville, Md. These farms collectively manage a diverse operation that includes poultry, grain and woodland. Rhodes is a member of the Horizon Farm Credit board and serves on the Farm Credit Council board. She is the Principal Agent for agriculture and food systems for the University of Maryland Extension, Queen Anne’s County, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Rhodes holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science and a master’s degree in education, agriculture and extension education from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
